HER STORY

Lindsey had just earned something big.

After years of hard work, she had completed her degree as an advanced practice provider. She was stepping into a new professional role, still learning, still finding her footing. She was also a grandmother. She was carrying the weight of being newer at something demanding, while also being the person everyone else relied on.

She was running on empty.

But she had earned this. And somewhere in her, she knew it. She wanted one experience — just one — that was entirely, unapologetically for her.

"I really wanted the opportunity to feel empowered after working so hard to finish my degree."

BEFORE THE SESSION

How were you feeling before your session?

Honestly, wiped out. As a grandmother, a newer APP, still learning — feeling like over 40 was about to kick my butt!

What was the biggest thing you were nervous about?

Being relaxed and less self-conscious about my physical appearance. I had gained weight and was struggling with that as well.

This is one of the most common fears I hear — that the camera will focus on what a woman dislikes about herself rather than what makes her remarkable. What actually happens is almost always the opposite.

DURING THE SESSION

What surprised you most about the experience?

Jodi — you are amazing! I was so impressed with how you were able to capture ME, despite being nervous and self-conscious. You put me at complete ease.

When a woman feels genuinely safe in a session — not just directed but truly at ease — something shifts. The images stop being about angles and start being about the person. That's when the real magic happens.

SEEING HER IMAGES

How did you feel when you saw your images for the first time?

I was absolutely shocked at how good they were! I still use one of them as my profile picture!

"I still use one of them as my profile picture."

That detail matters more than it might seem. Lindsey didn't just walk away feeling good for a day. She walked away with images that represent her to the world — professionally, personally, confidently. That's lasting value.

HER WORDS TO YOU

What would you say to a woman who's nervous?

DO IT!!! Don't hesitate. It was so nice to get my face and hair done and have stunning pictures taken. I felt so beautiful.

What does "confidence" mean to you now?

I'm trying to always put my best foot forward. I'm in a different place than I was a few years ago.

A NOTE FROM BEHIND THE LENS

Women like Lindsey are everywhere. High-achieving, deeply caring, endlessly capable — and perpetually last on their own list.

If you recognize yourself in her story, I want you to hear this: you have earned it too. Not someday. Now.

A session isn't an indulgence. It's an investment in remembering who you are when you're not busy being everything for everyone else.

Ready to Have Your Own FIERCE Moment?

Every woman in this series felt nervous. Every single one. And every single one walked away changed.

If Lindsey's story — or Suzanne's, or Melissa — sounds familiar, that's not a coincidence. That's recognition.

You don't have to be at your best. You don't have to have lost the weight, or feel confident, or know what to wear. You just have to decide to show up for yourself.

Sessions are limited. Reach out today to start the conversation.
