To the child who cyber bullied my daughter:
I prayed for you today
Your words may have cut her and hurt her but the outcome showed her how many people care for her.
I prayed for you today
You had no right to take an innocent picture posted by her best friend and use it for your mean and nasty words. In fact, your words didn't even make sense.
I prayed for you today
Whatever you have going on in your life that makes you feel like hurting someone else will make you feel better, I hope you realize that it only shows your true character.
I prayed for you today
My initial reaction was to track your sorry butt down on social media and make you feel as bad as my daughter was at that moment, but then I realized that I wasn't you and neither is she and we both rose to a higher level than where you live and we talked it out.
I prayed for you today
Praying for someone who has hurt me or the ones I love is NEVER easy, but it is what is right. I know that something must be missing in your life to make you spew those nasty words all over your social media and for that
I prayed for you today
I'm sorry that you are missing love or attention or affection or whatever it is in you life that makes you hate on beautiful people, but
I prayed for you today
You should know that I prayed for you today and I will pray for you and for all those that are like you and that hate like you and that hurt like you and that feel like you.
I prayed for you today
Because no matter the hatred that comes from your mouth, I know that there is most likely hurt behind it and while I pray that my daughter is strong enough to deal with your hatred, I know that it's you that needs my prayers more.
I prayed for you today
This world is full of so much hatred and so many cowards that hide behind a screen and would never have the audacity to speak such words to someone face to face. I believe that if you took a moment to look in the mirror, you would see what I'm talking about and see all of the hatred that fills this world and realize that the problem, AND ANSWER, starts with you!
I prayed for you today
I'm wrong. The problem is with you, but the answer is in us and how we deal with people like you going forward. I'm here for you if you need to talk about whatever is so wrong with you that you did this to my child. I'm here if you need help, a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen, and as a mama, a swift kick in the butt. Turning my back on you is not the right thing to do. Turning our backs on your hatred is. So,
I prayed for you today
Jodi Major
First off, I'm sorry your daughter had to endure the pain from that coward.
I am so impressed how you took the opportunity to publicly raise awareness to the bullying and how eloquently you addressed it. Wow Jodi! Your message was so powerfully composed! You ever so humbly stood up to the evilness and then graciously turned the other cheek. I applaud your bravery! Your daughters are blessed to have you for their mom!
Jodi, this post says so much about your character! I will try to remember to be as forgiving as you, and remember to pray for those that have hurt my loved ones. Very strong message!
