It Takes a Circle of Women: Meet the Team Behind Embrace Boudoir
When you book a boudoir session with Embrace Boudoir by AFH, you probably picture one moment: you, in front of the camera. What you might not see is the circle of women who have been holding space for you long before that moment, and who keep cheering for you long after. I'm Jodi, the photographer behind Embrace Boudoir by AFH. I started this studio because I love helping women see themselves in a new light and recognizing their own worth. But I've never done it alone. Every session is shaped by a team of women who care about how you feel at every step. I want you to meet them.
Your first conversation: our call queens
Before you ever walk into the studio, you'll talk to Amanda or a member of Heidi Gross Studio Elite's team. They're the warm voice on the other end of the phone, answering the questions you were almost too nervous to ask: What do I wear? What if I've never done anything like this? What if I don't feel ready? When I asked Amanda what her favorite part about helping a client through their experience is, she stated that "hearing their incredible stories of what they have already overcome before finding us". By the time you hang up, you're not a stranger anymore, you're part of the Embrace family.
Priscilla, Jodi & Jamie Jodi, Kendra & Brielle
The first hour: your glam team
Your session begins in the makeup chair with Jamie or Priscilla. This is the hour where the nerves start to soften. Jamie's favorite part is "helping you feel comfortable when you are nervous and the reaction when you look at your self in the mirror" and Priscilla's is talking and getting to know you.
They don't just do your hair and makeup; they help you arrive in your own skin, so that when you step into the session, you already feel like her.
Behind the scenes: Kendra and Brielle
If you're part of our VIP group, you've seen Kendra's welcome message and the posts that keep our community going. Brielle brings Embrace to TikTok and keeps track of the numbers that help this studio grow. They also happen to be my daughters, and building this with them is one of the greatest gifts of my life.
The session and the reveal
Then it's you and me. I'll guide every pose, every breath, every small shift that turns nervous into powerful. And when you sit down for your reveal and see yourself through my lens, that moment belongs to all of us, because every woman on this team helped bring you there.
