A Decade of Transformation: My Journey to Becoming a Leading Boudoir Photographer in Central PA

When I reflect on the last decade, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for the path that led me to where I am today—a dedicated boudoir photographer in Central PA specializing in empowerment, confidence, and self-love. What began as a simple dream in December 2015 has evolved into a thriving photography brand that serves women from Harrisburg, Lemoyne, Mechanicsburg, and all across Central Pennsylvania.

I officially launched my business at the end of 2015 as majorCLICKS Photography, taking on free or very affordable family sessions in local parks. Like many new photographers, I quickly discovered that free or cheap work didn’t reflect the value of my time, talent, or vision. As I began charging for sessions, my confidence grew, and I found myself drawn to high school senior portraits. This passion led to the creation of the majorSENIORS Crew, a unique program that brought junior students together for styled shoots, community, and unforgettable photographic memories leading into their senior year.

In 2019, I was encouraged to move into my first studio space. Even though I didn’t think I needed a studio, I trusted the process—and when COVID struck, I was incredibly grateful to have a controlled space to safely continue photographing clients from a distance. In 2020, my then-partner and I rebranded as All For Him Media, LLC, and we stepped into a beautiful new studio in Lemoyne.

By 2021, my heart was being pulled toward deeper, more meaningful work—supporting and celebrating women. That year, I launched my FIERCE over 40 sessions, which became a signature women’s empowerment photography experience. In 2022 alone, I photographed 42 extraordinary women over 40 and ended the year with a stunning FIERCE Gala that honored their stories and strength.

But 2023 came with unexpected shifts. My partner and I separated—both personally and in business—which left me wondering whether AFH Media still had a future. Through prayer, reflection, and encouragement from many of my FIERCE clients, clarity came: God wasn’t finished with my work or my mission.

Late in 2023, I began photographing boudoir sessions—an experience that changed everything. Helping women feel empowered, confident, and seen through boudoir photography in Central PA not only strengthened my business, but it strengthened me, too. It became clear that self-love portraits and intimate, confidence-boosting photo sessions were exactly where my heart belonged.

Then, at the end of 2024, another challenge surfaced. My landlord prepared to sell the building and asked me to consider ending my lease early. Once again, I turned to God for guidance. Almost immediately, new opportunities unfolded—a smaller, more intimate space just minutes from home that would be available by April 2025. I closed my Lemoyne studio at the end of February, paused photography during March to focus on rebuilding behind the scenes, and moved into my new studio at 312 Bridge Street Ste C in April.

Since then, this boutique studio—perfect for Harrisburg boudoir photography, women’s empowerment portraits, and Central PA self-love sessions—has allowed me to serve women more personally and intentionally than ever before. And 2025 has officially become my biggest year yet.

Back in 2021, I wrote down a “scary” business goal—one that felt almost impossible. Four years later, that goal has become reality. And now, with a renewed mission and unwavering community support, my dreams for 2026 are even bigger. With the encouragement of friends, fellow photographers, and countless empowered clients, I know the best is yet to come.

This journey hasn’t been easy, but it has been purposeful. Every challenge, blessing, and breakthrough has shaped me into the Central PA boudoir photographer I am today—devoted to helping women feel powerful, beautiful, and deeply confident.
