It’s that time of year again where moms all across the world decide it’s time to update their family pictures. Or maybe it’s the time of year that photographers all around the world decide it’s time for mom’s to update their family pictures. Either way, Fall family sessions are a VERY popular commodity.
It’s been many years since I’ve offered Fall family mini’s, but I have an itch to get outside the studio and capture some amazing families this Fall. I’ve been photographing boudoir, branding and beauty photos in the studio all year and the occasional wedding and I’m ready to get out and enjoy the weather and capture your awesome family and adorable smiles.
So what are the details?
I’m so glad that you asked because my Saturday’s are pretty booked with boudoir sessions this Fall, I will only be offering Fall family minis one day, October 26, and there will only be 4 time slots available.
We’ll be headed back to John C Rudy park in York, where I’ve offered family minis in the past. It’s a beautiful, rustic location offering a barn, wood fence, trees (even though they’ll probably be bare) and plenty of room for us to capture your amazing family.
Your session will include a 15 minute session, 5 high resolution images, online gallery for image selection and print release for $150+tax.
I know that booking a family session can cause some anxiety for the adults, but I’ve got you. Kids will be kids and I’ll deal with them. I often find that children who won’t smile or “perform” for mom will do just great for me. I’ve had my own kids and been through the same thing. I get it. But they always behaved for other people better than me and that’s the case I find most with family photo sessions.
I’ve got a blog about making a photo session with kids easier and how to survive a family session that I’ve addressed in the past. Check them out for inspiration.
Now, all that’s left is for you to choose your time and get signed up!
With only 4 spots available, they will go quickly so don’t wait!
I just love the warm fall tones! And it's the perfect time to update those family photos and use them for the family Christmas cards!
Jodi, you create such beautiful family photos!! I love that you remind parents that kids are kids. It's so true, and they are usually much better for a photographer than they are for mom!
